MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for xv6900 devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the xv6900 owner.

Here an application example:

Imaging, your cellular xv6900 has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the xv6900
• You can locate your xv6900 (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen xv6900 contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The xv6900 owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary xv6900 PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this xv6900, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every xv6900 supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your xv6900 using any other cellular xv6900 (no xv6900 required!). No internet access is necessary. The xv6900 replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
